Major Project Manager

Major Project Managers are responsible for the control & execution of the major project workflow – from Design & Fabrication to Installation. This role must work with all internal & external resources to coordinate & track progress of Major Projects according to established schedules & margins.

  • Manages Day-to-Day Work Processes & Full Scope of work to produce a project. This Includes Ensuring the Project is Designed, Approved, Estimated, Planned, Built, Shipped, & Installed According to Contract
  • Collaborates with all Departments to Bring a Project to Fruition, with a Focus on Meeting Client Requirements
  • Coordinates Meetings to Facilitate Progress, Focusing on Meeting Established Timelines
  • Travels to Project Location
  • Maintains Database Records & Information Throughout the Project
  • Works to Understand the Changing Needs of the Client
  • Negotiates with a Contractual Focus to Protect the Company Interests
  • Communicates to Internal Departments, On-site Project or Install Managers & to the Client
  • Handles Client Billing; Assembles Invoice Details for Submission to Client
  • Informs all Parties of Issues & Concerns Throughout & Communicates Success
  • Manages Projects Successfully To Meet A Specified Gross Profit
  • Has Earned an Associate's Degree in an Area Related to Logistics, Project Management, Manufacturing or Construction Management
  • Has 5+ Years of Experience in Managing Projects
  • Can Read, Grasp & Apply Contractual Information as a Part of Managing a Project
  • Has Developed Solid Negotiation Skills with the Ability to Resolve Concerns in a Positive Manner
  • Has a Sound Business Acumen & Understanding of What Drives Company Profits
  • Is an Effective Communicator
  • Has a Bachelor's Degree in Related Course of Study
  • Is Proficient with Word & Excel
  • Has Previously Used Project Management Related Software
